This Notice explains how Sento uses cookies, local storage, session storage and similar storage/access technologies on its international website, application and embedded live-chat/widget.
1. Categories
1.1 Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies support functions that are necessary for the requested Service or for security, authentication, session continuity, consent-state storage and similar essential operations. They may operate without a separate opt-in where applicable law permits and cannot be fully disabled through Sento's preference controls. Blocking them in the browser may prevent parts of Sento from working.
1.2 Functional technologies
Functional technologies remember optional preferences or improve a requested feature. Where a functional technology is not strictly necessary, Sento applies the consent or choice required by the visitor's jurisdiction.
1.3 Analytics technologies
Analytics technologies measure website/product use, reliability, performance and permitted interaction events. For the international website, Google Analytics 4 may be used when configured.
In the EEA, United Kingdom and any other jurisdiction that requires prior consent for non-essential storage or access, non-essential analytics are not activated until valid consent is recorded. In jurisdictions that permit analytics under another lawful basis or notice-and-choice model, Sento applies the corresponding notice, choice or opt-out requirement.
1.4 Marketing and advertising technologies
Advertising pixels, cross-context behavioral advertising signals and similar marketing technologies are disabled by default in the international baseline unless Sento separately discloses and enables them under the applicable legal requirements.

Sento does not intentionally place Customer Content, live-chat message text, prompts, AI responses, passwords, full payment-card data or free-form user-entered text into website analytics events. Where behavior-recording functionality is enabled, fields or page areas that may contain such information must be excluded from capture or masked as appropriate to the deployed technology.
The current implementation may change as Sento evolves. Sento updates this Notice or the current public technology inventory before or when a material new non-essential technology is enabled, as required by applicable law.
3. Consent and preferences
Where prior consent is required, Sento provides a mechanism that allows a visitor to accept, reject or manage non-essential categories. Withdrawing a consent must not be materially harder than giving it.
Changing cookie preferences applies prospectively. It does not by itself require deletion of data lawfully collected before the change where Sento or a recipient has an independent lawful retention basis.
Sento cannot guarantee deletion of cookies stored on a third-party domain that Sento cannot technically control. Users may also delete or block such cookies through browser/device settings.
4. Global Privacy Control and other opt-out signals
Where applicable US state law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control or another qualifying opt-out preference signal for sale, sharing, targeted advertising or similar regulated processing, Sento honors the signal for the processing to which the law applies.
Such a signal does not disable technologies that are strictly necessary for the Service, and it does not automatically disable ordinary analytics where the applicable law does not treat that analytics processing as a regulated sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activity.
5. Embedded Sento live-chat and widget
The Sento live-chat/widget may use technical session identifiers or local storage necessary to load the component, secure the connection, maintain conversation state and provide functions requested by the user. Those technologies are treated as necessary to the extent they are required for the requested chat/widget functionality.
Optional analytics or marketing technologies inside the widget, if introduced, remain subject to the applicable consent/choice rules. A Customer embedding Sento on its own website remains responsible for the notices and consent mechanisms applicable to that Customer's site, while Sento provides accurate technical information about the Sento widget.
6. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
If a cookie, identifier or similar technology relates to an identified or identifiable person, the International Privacy Policy and the applicable Regional Privacy Rights Notice govern the related Personal Data processing.
